So I'm not good in meeting right? Get a little fidgety and information just kind of wafts between my two ears with no special coincedence at all?

Well Satan's done it again.

I have a NINE HOUR meeting the WHOLE ENTIRE DAY tomorrow. A performance management workshop. This is my idea of hell.

And I have to be at work half an hour early to attend.

Honestly, it feels as though someone just did a dump on my head.

oh no... can't you plead that you're 'the creative' and therefore manage your performance in your own kookie way which doesn't require all day get togethers?

Nine hours! Wow!
They must have something REAL important to say. let us know!

Z - good idea. "I'm the ceentric one, don't make me conform, or you'll be sorry." I'll do anything to get out of this. And I mean ANYTHING.

Wonderwall - hi, welcome back! It's probably not important at all. Just wasting my time and the company's time no doubt...

Call in sick. Something I'd like to do, but i've completely exhausted my leave. As of now, my leave balance stands at -10!

This situation calls for one of those novelty eye glasses with wide open eyes painted on the front of them. That or a stunt double for those boring or dangerous situations we sometimes find ourselves in which by the way is my first purchase should human cloning get under way.

I'm with Ed on the novelty glasses.. Poor you! I had 4hrs on recruitment a few months ago and I almost lost the will to live by the end!

I know your pain Laurian! Meetings suck...especially nice hour meetings. Maybe you can get all hopped up on cough syrup or something.

And I'm sure you'll have lots of interesting things to blog about after being trapped in a room for nine hours.

I always fall asleep at meetings

and at my desk

and for most of the work day

Hell indeed

My boss is forever crapping on my head.

Chin up, Laurian. You can do it.

Can you take a laptop in and pretend like you are doing something important and blog instead? I have perfected the ability to entertain myself in my head...but you don't wanna go there.

I say, if they're going to pay you to sit and listen to 9 hours of crap, then just enjoy the ride.
