when I'm big I wanna be a ....

Do you think accountants wake up one morning, like when they're five, and and go "Dad? I wanna be an ACCOUNTANT."

When the rest of the world's 5-year olds want to be a fireman/a figure skater/a nurse.

When I was five I wanted to be a waitress, astronaut or teacher. I ended up doing maths for a living. Where did it all go wrong... :)

Did you always want to write, Laurian?

Since the beginning of time in my mind, I have always wanted to design and build things. When I was sixteen, I found out that the proper term for someone like that is engineer. Now eight years into my engineering career, I still like it but dream of becoming a writer and/or boat builder when I "grow up."

I want to review films with Roger Ebert. Ain't gonna happen.. :)

Can't stand Ebert but damn what a cool job reviewing movies would be! Heck, I would do it for free if someone supplied me with the movies and the time.

I wanted to be an orthodontist but I sell commercial real estate.

Hmmm...no idea what happened.

I never wanted to be anything weird, but my sister wanted to be a mama bubble. Don't ask me what a mama bubble is.

Steph - Yip always wanted to write. Have been writing stuff since I was 6 years old. I guess it wasn't really an option for me,, although I did dabble with being a figure skater/a marine biologist/ a vet.

Wonderwall - you know I also went mad sometime this year and thought about doing an MBA. But I pulled myself together and stopped thinking crazy.

Ed - An engineer is more probable for a 5-year old than an accountant. Completely acceptable.

Steph - oh yeah, I want to be a singer too. Also NEVER going to happen, unless I transplant my vocal chords.

Blondie - You clairvoyant you! What else can we expect in the future?

Robin - an orthodontist? I know wanting to be a vet isn't exactly glamourous, but putting braces on people's teeth?? I'm really glad you sell real estate honey :)

Nettie - a mama bubble? Interesting. Perhaps it's one large muthasticking bubble. Also, you asked about San Francisco - I'm planning to get a job there at the end of this year and live there for a couple of years. Sounds like my kind of place.....

Mrarty - hey!

A rainforest protector? That's definitely a new termilogy for me!

Does that mean you dress up in a green suit and handcuff yourself to a tree and make sure that the big bad guys don't shop the trees down?
