camping

They're packing up my house today.

End of the World Cup, end of South African domesticity as I know it.

I type this from one lonesome chair.

I am camping here until tomorrow, then head off to my parents for a last night.

It's all so surreal.

Wishing you eva so much happiness in your move. But will be most sad if we don't still get to read all about your loonie life.

I have no doubt English living will be loonier than ever - I will def be blogging, just to arrange my shell-shocked thoughts :)

Make sure you get someone famous to do a painting of your Last Supper.

I hope the move goes well, and that your mom makes all of your favourites to eat.

(While I'm here, is there a way to read your older posts - besides following your 'history' links? Your 'archives' link seems to be bust. ?)

Thanks so much guys.
It's wierd, it hasn't hit me outright to the point where I'm like 'Fuck. I'm leaving the country.' I think that'll happen when I'm on the plane.

But hey, camping out in my house with a sleeping bag sure is starting to make this all a reality. Eeek!
