two for luck

3RM made an interesting observation last night.
3RM: Dude, that pipe over there – cutting through your chill room? It's a Number Two Express.
Peas: Beg pardon?
3RM: It basically services all the toilets in the apartment above, and the one above it still....and it's running right through your house.
Peas: No.
3RM: Yes. This pipe doesn't just randomly catch rain water.
Peas: Beautiful.

I'm excited about moving now. This wasn't the final nail in the coffin, but not having a shite pipe cutting through my house would be a nice touch.
I sign the lease today.

I'm off to Natal this afternoon. For not one, but two weddings. A little roadtrip down with C and L, we have to be in Durban before nightfall, or at least before the reception is over. An almost impossible feat. Perhaps I'll get excited when we finally arrive in Durban. Then we'll chill in the Midlands for three more days and attend another wedding. Heavy.

My father is coming to the one from Cape Town. I'm worried he's going to rock up in jeans and a farmer shirt, as it's going to be a posh affair I think. And there's no way I can get lucky at the wedding now, not with Dad around. Kidding kidding.

Now just to get excited about going away, and to enjoy the Midlands.
I start work on Monday. Am a little nervous.

If you are going to have a shite pipe running through your flat, it should - at the very least - be transparent.

So Peas is coming to my hometown... Thats cool. Though I warn you we've been having shitty weather. But not the kind thats running through your current flat.

Was in the midlands last weekend. Froze my ass but it was worth it.

Have a great weekend.

I think the appropriate question is: Will your dad be getting lucky at the wedding?
