thursday

Two things, no three:

1) It's funny how long it takes to unwind when you're on holiday. Then after two days back, it's as if you never left.

2) Imagine how painful it must be if someone stood on your face. In a stiletto heel.

3) My boss was telling me that before she was a successful business woman, she and her hubby had no money, and therefore couldnt afford to buy a stove. So she cooked her food on....her iron. Set to "linen" would boil a pot of soup, "silk" was for simmering, and she'd fry eggs on it too. She even had dinner parties. Holy crap. It just shows: being dirt poor isn't all bad. You have creativity on your side.

4) (Just because it's worth mentioning). I have a headache to the likes of somebody hitting my inner-skull with a steel mallet. And I feel nauseas. I'm hoping it's the chicken and corn soup I ate for lunch and not the dreaded m-word. I'm waiting for a fever, vomiting and hallucinations, then I'll go to hospital.

Hmmm... rob the bank, eh....

You know my idea was to rob the bank and pay the course tuition. But now that you mention it, the catamaran is soooo much more appealing.

That, and don't listen to death metal when you have a headache. I know it sounds obvious, but you never know...

Well you make sure to rush to the hospital if you don't feel better soon! I'm sure it's best if they catch it early.

Feel better :)

I thought it was two things. They multiplied. Have your blood tests come back yet?

Wonderwall - erm, yes, death metal is not something I have previously considered to fix a thumping headache. Ouch :(

Robin - Thanks mate. I'm actually feeling ok today. Just a false alarm, I hope. x

Nettie - With malaria, it won't show in a blood test until you actually have it and feel sick. So when I'm halfway dying, only then they will be able to tell me. I suppose that's why so many people die of it.
Bummer huh?
