bad salmon

I love salmon. Would eat it all day if I could. Would be a salmon fisherman if I could. Ate bad salmon yesterday. Was sick. Was not good. (Somewhere between Norway and South Africa, my salmon became bad.)

But feeling better today and will proceed to drive into town and interview a woman about her new restaurant there. The managing editor gives me all the town stories to do, which is great.

Tonight I see ex and give him his birthday present. I made him a CD and am buying him a book. CD is a little cheesy, but chose a good mix of solid tunes that thankfully abhorr Richard Marx and Mariah Carey.
Eeeeek.

i love salmon too, with dill sauce, yummy!!!!!!!!!!!!! never had bad salmon here. i made a christmas cd for my niece and her husband last year, it was the first cd i ever burned, very crude, but homemade gifts are the best. nothing like showing someone you have given up some of your precious time to make something for them.

Touchay, janie q, touchay. I even made an awesome CD cover - out of violet silk, for that 'lounge' feel. Sounds snazzy, but looks at little on the grunge side, what with loose threads sticking out the sides...but anyway, at least it's homemade hey? :)

Have you not seen that movie with John Cusack, High Fidelity? Where he owns the record shop and he and his girlfriend break up and there's this one scene where he explains all the rules of making a mixed tape for someone you like? That is such a good movie.

i'm trying to teach my kids that it's always a good idea to remain friends or on friendly terms with ex bf's/gf's, if possible. don't know if i would encourage them with that gift thing, guess it depends on how close of friends you remain.

Oy vey, lass. Oy vey. Absurd amounts of alcohol will have to be consumed by the pair of us while we come up with a permanent solution to your man problems. Will you make me a cd when we're no longer friends?

OK OK I know it sounds absurd people I get it.
But it's not.
Because, well it's not.
I'm completely in control of the situation. TRust me on this one.
