Ever seen 'Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind?'

"Hi. I am going to extinguish the person that is solicitating all this madness and sadness in your head. After this hypnosis session, you will not remember anything about this person. All memories, fantasies, hurt and associations will be immediately removed. Ready?"

L - Absolutely.

*The session continues, and after four hours of tears, sweat and confusion, it is finally finished. She opens her eyes. And remembers nothing.*

Much later that week...

"L, your ex is here, I saw him at the bar."

L - I have an Ex?

"Uh...yes you do. Are you ok?"

L - Sure. *walks up to supposed-ex* Hi there, don't I know you from somewhere?

Ex "Uh, L, are you drunk?"

L - You know my name? Wow, ok.

And so it continues.

I'm getting hypnotised this Saturday. I can hardly wait.

But what if it backfires and as you don't remember him you end up getting off with him again?

LC thinks hypnosis might do the trick
To help her forget that troublesome prick
But the chance still remains that on seeing her ex
She might not remember and end up having sex

Have a good day!

Jon - brilliant. Hopefully it'll also repair my judgment, and I won't go down that awful road again. But good point: I'll make sure he doesn't completely erase him. Just a bit ;)

Mrscoogen - Hi! It was a great movie wasn't it. I just love Kate Winslet. Apparently he doesn't hypnotise me to the point I have no idea what's going on. WE'll have to see.

I'm always afraid that I would be hypnotized to send the hypnotizer regular checks or even worse, talk like a chicken for the rest of my life.

i just watched the forgotten last night, don't know if you've seen that one. do you really want to forget him, or do you just want to get over him, they are kind of different things, i think

That movie made me cry (both times I saw it in the cinema). Wouldn't it be nice? Of course, I would wake up wondering why in the world I was in the UK..
