First day of Spring...

But today the sun is shining, I've clad myself in brights, I'm donning my favourite pink flower basket bag, am wearing a flower in my hair. I've officially got that spring feeling.

It's hot, it's Thursday (nearly Friday!), my boss liked my feature, YAY!, I've got two birthday parties this weekend, and for once I don't have a hangover on Thursday because I didn't ham it up at the Jolly Roger on Wednesday night.

But: it's just me and my big bad boss in the office this morning 'cos everyone is sick. Talk about awkward.

PS: Don't you love my bag?? A little over the top, sure, but still my favourite!

Gorgeous!! Perfect for the first day of spring. :) Plus you can get loads of stuff into it.

Glad to hear that things are going well for you.

Thanks Steph - let's hope it lasts! For a while there I thought I was cursed with bad luck. But for today at least, it's sunny and that's all that counts...

I could put my kitchen sink in the bag. It's great.

The first day of Spring is finally here
And LC is full of colour and cheer
Her bag could cause bees to vacate their hives
And a fortnight remains til she turns 25
Her boss is impressed with her work so far
So to celebrate I suggest the Jolly Roger bar :)

Happy First Day of Spring :)

Remember, for every place just about ready to turn into spring, there is another country about ready to turn into fall.

No wonder you have so much energy to go pubbing all the time. You aren't even 25 yet! Now my sorry old bag of bones feels better about myself.

Jon - I rate that your peom today is one of the best yet. You've fused about five different topics into five lines of pure magic. Utter brilliance. YOu take my breath away! ;)

Ed - Full of beans I may be, but by the time I hit 40, I'd have definitely run out of steam if I continue the lifestyle I am living now! So never fear :)

Ho-fair enough. But at least you guys get snow, and can therefore ski to your heart's content. I've seen snow twice in here, both on the highest mountains in this country.

Anyway, fall's alsways fun isn't it, what with rolling about in the hay/leaves? ;)

It's ADORABLE...yeah spring huh? We're just starting fall! I love fall, and spring, and summer, and about 2 weeks of winter not 5 months. :P

Woah! Neato bag. Reminds me of this big blotch of paint I left on my pants in third grade after 'experiments' in art. Very expressive...

Enjoy the parties!
