real dublin
Irish music. Dublin's oldest pub. Built in 1197. Guinness. Sweaty river dancing with random locals.
Then leery hour in the corner with a bunch of Irishmen on banjo's and guitars, where the whole pub was singing stuff like 'Molly Malone's and 'What shall we do with the drunken sailor.'
I blame my manager, he's Irish and was therefore much enthused. It was hilarious.
Haven't done Dublin like that before.
I've only ever done Dublin in a commercial sense, getting twatted along the streets of Temple Bar, where Guinness costs a packet and people dress up like leprechauns for the tourists.
This was proper.
Oh and Bob Geldof talked at our conference yesterday. What a hoot, a rock star on stage in a suit.

You may already know, but there is a Brazen Head in Stellenbosch as well - and it looks quite like this one (from what I remember) except filled with university emo kids.
Brazen Head in stellenbosch sucks butt.
Anyhoo. Enjoy!
Spear - I can agree with you on that.
