cough, splutter

I have bronchitis. It is awful.
My lungs are seizing up, I am exhausted from coughing, I feel incompetent and therefore depressed, and my whole body aches.
I blame it all on the ex, for the emotional duress he put me through over the weekend.

I'm missing Steve like crazy. He is working in North Carolina for the rest of the week, and I really just want him to come home now. For the last three days I have been crying and coughing - sometimes I get confused which is which.

Then, disaster struck yesterday. Doused up on flu medication, I took Steve's car to work and fucking scraped the side of the car across a pole. Fuccccccccccckkkkk. It's only a little dent, and scrapings of paint, but will cost me R2000 in cold hard cash. Amateurism. How can I be so dumb?? Steve took it amazingly well, since the car is his baby. So I don't need to move to Chad just yet. I am SUCH a moron though.

IN the meantime, my boss is pissing me off. I only came in today because I need to catch up. And, although I am coughing my germs everywhere, my antibiotics are strewn over the desk and I am cleraly in unwell, he piles even more work for me to do.
Seriously. If I bite his head off, it won't be the worst thing.

Fuck. About the car, your bronchitis, your boss. At least I can empathise - crashed Dad's car AGAIN last Thursday. When will I learn that Stella doesn't make for good driving? Get better soon babe!

I suggest you cough a lot in your boss's general direction and hope the evil twat gets sick.

I wouldn't worry too much about the car. Shit happens and Steve will probably understand. Does he know you are unwell?

Third W Ant: Thought you'd understand babe. You and your dad's cars are cursed!

Two Face - THanks dear. I cannot tell you how much I need a weekend right now...

Steph - It's funny you say that, every time he gets on the phone, I start hacking/coughing like a banshee. That should teach him. Steve is such a babe really. He knows I'm sick and about his car and still says that all he cares about is that I get batter. What a sweetie pie.

Well Laurian, if he keeps coming over to yours desk with more work than he'll probably get sick and know your pain!

I say if he makes you come in sick, then he shouldn't be surprised at what may happen.

I've been sick with all that crap for a month but have been out of work with laryngitis. My boss is the same way but when my head almost popped off from coughing he sent me home. I sure hope Steve isn't the ex but if so feel free to send him my way...LOL...Feel Better!

Anny - well I pretty much gave in over the weekend - by dousing myelf with drugs and staying in bed...

Binsk - Yip. After all my coughing you'd think he'd be sick by now. He's not. That makes him an alien. Not surprising really.

Two Face - Usually I'd be over the moon happy about Friday. Perhaps this week coming...(when I can drink again...)

Janie Q - I should've done that. Nice idea.

Nettie - It's funny you say that, my boss isn't sick, but one of my colleagues is now.

Green Alligator - laryngitis is awful. Get yourself some serious antibiotics. And Steve isn't my ex, he's my current. And he's wonderful - everything the Ex is not. (So no, he's not up for grabs! ;) )

Ho - nope, it's mid-winter here mate. And I'm freezing my ovaries off.
