i have he hots for...a car.

Splendid weekend really. Friday night - read about it on laurianclem.blogspot.com ("The Tale of Two Shirts.")

One thing that I have noticed about myself increasingly, is that, well, I am addicted to Steve's car. It's a gold Audi A3, with a sound system so superb, you actually want to be stuck in traffic. With seats so comfy, brakes so brakey and a turbo engine that flies from the stop street at something like 0-100 km/h in 7 seconds. I am in absolute euphoria driving this machine, that I am infatuated with a car.

It's getting unhealthy. I'm sitting, mooching really, around the house on Saturday and get all fidgety. This craving overbears me, as I grab the keys, and head for the garage. Then I drive all over Johannesburg willy-nilly, with nowhere to really go, except to blast dodgy music from the sepakers, windows down and bass up. Serious porn star material.
I've even resorted to burning CDs every single day, so that I have special compilations to load into the CD shuttle.

Wen Steve gets back, as much as I can't wait, it may get nasty. When I have to hand over the car. I might even cry. Don't think I won't.

I am in love with a car. Do I need therapy, or is this what avant garde women of the 2000's do instead of a man?

Aha! Ze power of ze auto mobile.! Now if only you watched the F1 happenings yesterday, you would realise what uber speed can do to yuor health.

I was taken for a drive in a Porsche 911 one time. And right now, the family Ford doesn't quite cut it.

Wonderwall it's funny you say that, for suddenly I have this incurable fascination for F1! What happened yesterday????

Also, my Uno is definitely not going to cut it when I have to hand the Audi over...the dread frightens me.

Lol... If you like Keane, you'll absolutely trip on Coldplay. Keane, though I really like 'em and all, are Coldplay wannabes. Now that you mention them, I recommend you getting all Coldplay CDs, especially the first one, Parachutes. I guarantee you won't be disappointed. You may not 'get' them at first, but a few listens, and you'll be hooked.

Keane are Coldplay wannabes? Ha ha, now I beg to differ. I know that their style and range are similar, but I just don't see Chris Martin being the posterboy for Keane somehow. I actually do own two Coldplay CDs, but have lost them in a mound of crap in my house. Gasp, shock horror! :) But, I see that you are being deliberately stubborn on how I'm going to feel over tis album, so as soon as I own it, you'll be the first to know. :)

I think as long as you dobn't go speeding around Johannesburg and get pulled by the cops, you're good.
