picking oneself up again

I'm doing just that. Granted, I feel less phenomenal than I did prior to yesterday, but I've decided I'm still fucking super. In one way or another.

I went to the Dodgy Roger last night, in anticipation for an intoxicating evening. But I didn't feel the need to get trashed what with so much in my head as it is, and the fact that, well, I think I ate an off banana.

Tis true. I knew there was no going back after the consumption of the aforementioned phallic fruit. Like an old woman, I sat at the Roger with sore legs and a back, and a bad stomach. I haven't had sex - you'd be the first to know if I had - so one wonders why I feel like I did some rough loving. Perhaps it's cos I got screwed out of feeling great yesterday. One can only assume. Or that I carried a stack of heavy groceries up to my flat.

But I digress. Tonight I'm going to a random party where I don't know many people. There will lots of men there. We will be drinking from squeezy bottles. It's going to be messy. I can't wait.

I will think of some as soon as I can stop thinking of bloody bananas, promise.

Wha do ya think about 'Revolving Credit and the Temple of Poen'??

Peas on Toast said...

Bloody perfect! Poenjabi MC would be proud. :)

Go Peas! And no more apologies, please!!! You have NOTHING to be sorry about at all.
Have a fab one this evening.

Peas on Toast said...

Thanks Jam!

I can't wait for tonight. I'm going to throw so much name, I am already embarrassed for myself. Yay! :)

Champagne Heathen said...

Peas, you can't deny it for long. I tried and the next thing I was couch-ridden for a week. It isn't a bad banana, it is the flu.

Fcking flu is bedding more people than I am at the moment!

So just add lots of orange juice to that cane squeeze bottle tonight.

Yours in bad health.

Peas on Toast said...

Oh God champagne.

Serious? I'm still recovering from a frigging head cold I've had all week.
Shitters. I will start popping Vitamin C right now. Flu is just seriously inconvenient to have at this point. It's fucking with my social life.

Just remember that Tequila is your friend and Jaegermeister is the devil...recite that a few times now... :oD

Peas on Toast said...

nice one godsgimp!

thanks fly - Ithink I'm sticking with what I know tonight: vodka.

lol :o)

Vodka's good...oh god is vodka good.... :o)

Champagne Heathen said...

Not to worry. Last night I found the miracle cure. Several glasses of wine, then vodkas, then what appeared to be champagne on tap, and I felt no aches or pains & had enough energy to dance up a storm.

So if the flu attacks you, try that!

Granted today I can't breathe, move, work, think. But it was worth it.

Peas on Toast said...

he he, champagne, it sounds way more exciting than sitting about on the couch drinking up a storm with Med Lemon.

Vodka is my wingman tonight. He's pretty good as well. :)

Revolving Credit said...

What if you drink tequila with fruit and veg - does the lemon not work the same as Med Lemon?

fly said...

@Pea's

And generally, unlike Tequila, Vodka tends to look after you while you are having a good time.... :-) ...sometimes...

fly said...

ooooh....what is a good drink is Tequila and Red Bull....or and this is for the more discerning Tequila fans....Tequila on the rocks with a shot of lime....a great sundowner drinks...if you cfan stomach it... :-)

fly said...

im already lisping my words... :oP

Champagne Heathen said...

Never underestimate a good cough syrup though, to give you an excellent hallucogenic effect. (How the hell do you spell that word)

I reckon our tequila could cut through any tropical diease you throw at it. At least that's my theory and I'm sticking with it.

Revolving Credit said...

Well I've been down sick and spattering for a few days, but that shouldn't get you down - most cough mixtures have a fair amount of alcohol. I've just been swigging 3 differnt types right out the bottle. If you do feel a bit off, maybe you should try some Benylin Bodyshots!! or maybe a few Vicks ActaBombs!!

Peas on Toast said...

Bless - love these ideas chaps.

I'm sure, either way, the amount of vodka I consume tonight will render a pregnant yak free of any free-floating virus out there.

It's the mixers that are going to be interesting. ;)

Revolving Credit said...

1 tot vodka, 1 tot tequila, top up with apple sourz and cranberry juice with a slice of lime and sugar rimmed glass.

Peas on Toast said...

Ooh now that does sound delicious. And doable. I'm taking that recipe home with me. ;)

Peas on Toast said...

shortypam - it does until the next day. But hey, that's tomorrow's problem! :)

Suavé said...

Hello my friend!

I feel like :)

Let's go and get ourselves some ass P!

Peas on Toast said...

Suave - touchay sport! Let's go get ourselves some ass indeed!

I fear I will become a compulsive groper tonight. I tend to do this alot. Squeeze random people's bottoms. Good God I'm excited! :)

Revolving Credit said...

Peas: Whhsss....ooh..Whssssh....ohh
Now behave ;)

Peas on Toast said...

Ooh and I get an early morning spanking??

So far the day looks so bright, the sun will be shining out of my drunken ass by tonight! (As Billy once said - bless him ;)

Revolving Credit said...

Sounds like you've got a gropefest planned? Surely you will venture beyond the boundaries of the Dodgy Dollar tonight?

Peas on Toast said...

I won't be swinging into the Dodgy Roger tonight, no. I will be spreading the love in other places.

PS: Groping is immensely fun. One immeditaely knows how tight or how not-so-tight one's ass is though a good old grope.

Revolving Credit said...

Are you getting yourself all revved up this weekend in preparation for next weekend's trip to Sepoenda?

Suavé said...

Grrr!!!

Anonymous said...

Hey Peas
Random Parties where you don't know anyone are the best. I think it might be good for you to get out of your normal circle of aquaintances anyway... nothing like a fresh feeding ground for the voracious!

Revolving Credit said...

@Suave - sounds like you've just had your ass groped ...(was he cute!)..LOL

Peas on Toast said...

Oh yes, and there's the ripper of a weekend in Sepoenda. I have a good feeling we may just blow the entire town away.

And Daytripper - too right. I think I need to venture beyond the borders of my friendship circles. And cause chaos elsewhere. ;)

Suavé said...

revolving - **shakes head** He? **clears throat**...uhm..how bout no.

Nice try buddy

fly said...

hehehe....

Revolving Credit said...

@Suave - Well I wouldn't expect you to go Grrrr...if some honey groped your ass...I'd expect your response to be more like 'OK, my turn'

Peas on Toast said...

God let's hope they say 'OK my turn' tonight! :)

I will be wearing my sexiest jeans ever in anticipation of!

Billy said...

Have a good weekend Peas!
Glad to hear you are firing on all jets again!

Peas on Toast said...

Thanks Bill, and you too my dear. x

I was actually Growling at P. But actually, I've turned around and said Grrr!!! before and well, lets just say that she still has my t-shirt.

Champagne Heathen said...

Just back to an earlier part of this convo...tequila: A friend just sent me a mail saying that she has found a restaurant in London with 26 different types of tequila!!

Man, suddenly I see the reason to move over to rain-drenched pom-pom capital.

Although, it might make more sense going straight to the source and drinking these many types in Mexico.

Sorry to change the subject. Now you can go back to talking about feeling up random hot strangers...

Peas on Toast said...

champage - I'll recommend the tequila place to my Brit blogging sister Zuzula. If she hasn't frequented the place already. :)

Did you know you can buy tequila in Mexico on tap? Like how one would order a draught at a bar here, you can order tequila straight from the [keg] itself in a myriad of varieties. I can hear Cancun calling...

muddlepuddle said...

Hey Peas
Sorry to hear about that sodden banana - for me personally ain't nothing worse than a rotten soft banana :)
Good to see you in such high spirits today dearie best of luck tackling all that ass tonight! I will wait in anticipation till Monday to hear just how goddess you're going to be this weekend!(WOW!How screwed up were-are those tenses??!!)
Muddle

Peas on Toast said...

I think it's safe to say Muddle, I won't be chomping on any such bananas this weekend. ;)

Groping, however, is definitely on the cards! :)

Anonymous said...

OOOOHH! Count me in...tequila on tap...

*Jam's eyes mist over*

Peas on Toast said...

Me thinks a holiday in Acapulco would do me the world of good. Tequila-induced stupors aside. Any takers?

Champagne Heathen said...

Sob. Such sweet tales while I sit and suffer in a town that serves petrol in disguise of the golden nectar of the gods.

Have you ever had proper mexican tequila? It really is like sipping on sweet silk. I used to struggle to shoot that. It just seemed too disrespectful. But not that disrespectful...

zuzula said...

ooohh i need to find that tequila bar! what's it called?

Peas on Toast said...

I've never had proper mexican tequila - but I can only imagine. Almost too good to drink....*sigh*
(I dream of a place that serves tequila on tap, Latino men who talk like Fez from That 70s Show, and long sandy beaches on which to boof....did I just say that aloud??)

Champagne Heathen said...

She's probably gonna kill me for mentioning it to other people, and so overcrowding the joint, but I say....spread the love. She called it "Santa Fe". No clue where in London it is though.

@Peas..."boof"????!?!?!

Peas on Toast said...

boof: shag, funky monkey, roll in the hay, making bacon, bang. :)

Chroist. Hornier than ever.

Champagne Heathen said...

No, I understood the word. It is the actual word & the sound it conjures up that I am struggling with. I am not sure I want a shagging session that can summed up by a word that makes me think of one of those powerdering brushes being hit against the cheeks of some old lady as she powders her face. ;)

Peas on Toast said...

Oh no...don't say that..it was like my favourite shaggy word!

Boof me, please.

(OK admittedly it's a little...off. But it just has a ceratin ring to it that cannot be denied ;)

Anonymous said...

So I wonder what the best "shag" me word is...I tend to stick to "shag", although it's hardly a hot, sweaty kind of word...

Peas on Toast said...

Jam it's failproof and that's all that counts sweetheart. No one would ever balk and say, "Shag?? What the hell kind of word is that?"

I have got that with 'boof' before, admittedly.

Revolving Credit said...

What you want is to be 'tremortised' or 'shudderated' - thats when you've been so well and truly shagged that you can't stop shaking!!

Peas on Toast said...

Hmmm...those were the days...like 18 days ago...ages ago...I've almost forgotten what it feels like. :(

Champagne Heathen said...

Ravished!
As Jeremy Irons put it to Liv Tyler in Stealing Beauty, "What you need is a ravisher".

Man, I could use a good ravishing from a hot ravisher...Excuse me, I must go and daydream for awhile...

Revolving Credit said...

Sounds like you're looking for a bit of 'Bolero' - bumping and grinding or hips and thighs.

OK that's halarious.

So the plans are in order. Anyone willing to sponsor a tequila taster for the trip?

It's only about R36 000. A drop in the old bucket. ;)

PS: Billy, I didn't realise you were in tourism. :)

Billy said...

not only in it but i own part of a travel agency....not that i get special prices or anything! My staff rip me off im sure. Anyhow, we digress....
A blog convention perhaps?
Get Media 24 to fund it and we all run free adverts for life on our blogs?
I would also tattoo an address on my head(or any other body part) if that would help......

Peas on Toast said...

Serious Billy? That's awesome!

OK Media24 - did you get that? We will advertise you and your services on all of our blogs in exchange for a trip to Cancun for a blog convention. Where we will come up with cutting-edge ideas on blogging and forecasts on bloggers of the future.

I think that's fair?

PS: Other destinations that we don't mind convening in include the Comores, Thailand, The French Riviera and New York. We're easy like that.

Billy said...

Theres a volcano thats about to shoot its load in Comores but i agree; we are able to negotiate on destination.

Peas, im off to a pub to give this some more thought.
Have a great weekend.
Later
Billy
