snow day

We finally got our SNOW DAY.

Well, snow HALF DAY. Central London from my office window looks like this:

The Brit is in Switzerland for a week for work. I'm going to go home, (and am not sure how I am going to get home, assuming all the trains are fucked), but once that adventure is dealt with - I plan to whack on the old tunes, pour a glass of red wine.

I'm not boozing this month. Actually, oh go on then. It's Friday, it's snowing, I'm sleep deprived and frankly that's more than enough justification for one glass of red wine.

Then I plan to cook. Really make a mess of the kitchen and cook something delicious and lovely. Without dairy. Or meat. Or sugar.

That leaves...lentil stew. 

Or...lobster thermidor?
